Artist Paul Kolker came to Media-Star to develop a comprehensive website that would showcase his unique large format paintings. After an extensive tour of his studio, and several discussions about his goals for the site, Media-Star went to work. We developed a clean interface that would put the focus on his fracolor pieces, and created a dynamic navigation scheme. The navigation initiated exploration of his known work, while a drop down menu allowed visitors to view his entire body of work. Media-Star also embarked on an ambitious endeavor to utilize Scene7's dynamic imaging technology, which allows visitors to zoom into a photograph. Normally used on online apparel commerce (Nike, Gucci), Media-Star pushed the boundaries of the technology to allow nine levels of zoom, which provides viewers the opportunity to see the intimate details of his divisionism and them pull back for a complete perspective.

Inside Hockey required a distinctive look and vibe for their literary-fueled website on everything hockey. They came to Media-Star to develop an online destination that would not provide insight into the sport, but also an intellectual examination of where hockey is today and what is was in the past and where it will be in the future.

Dynamic Sun Record Pressing was started in 1946 to serve the needs of the music business. However, with the industry downturn, Dynamic Sun needed to generate new business, and fast. The company turned to Media-Star to develop a website that would effectively market the record plant to the world. Now in it's 57th year, Dynamic Sun is thriving.
